     How do we focus on health with our day-to-day livesman walking on gators being filled with non stop activities and stressful schedules?  It can seem impossible to arrange a fitness and diet routine due to our demanding unmanageable schedules; however there are several resources available to find the healthiest foods to eat and foods to avoid, and options for healthier cooking.  Full time working professionals, students, and housewives have many valid excuses for why they are not able to exercise; or why they don't find time for exercise.  The question is "where can we find time and how do we begin?”  How do we regain our drive, vitality, physical fitness, and energy?

     There are many sources’ that contribute to physical fitness, and one of them is exercise.  Running, jogging, swimming, cycling, vigorous walking, and lifting weights, will sustain physical strength and vitality.  Climb stairs if you have a choice between stairs, and escalators, or elevators.  Parking your vehicle further out in the parking lot will encourage more activity.  Ride you bike or take your dog for a walk; physical activity or burning calories by moving more through out the day is vital.

     Sustaining a healthy diet is also an important role for fitness.  Remaining physically fit is an infinite challenge in our existing omnipresent junk food age.  Choosing healthier fast foods is a challenge; but it can be done.  Most restaurants have pamphlets with their nutritional content available to their customers, and also have this information on their web sites.  One has to educate themselves to learn how to avoid greasy trans fat and unhealthy fast food.  The convenience of fast food makes it difficult to pass up when most people are living extremely hectic lifestyles, and all of a sudden start gaining weight!  Of course the best alternative to eating out would be to eat at home, where you can monitor your calorie consumption and avoid any additives you are not aware of.  There are several options for healthier cooking methods, and saving money by preparing meals at home is also a great advantage!

     Sleeping well and feeling rested when you wake in the morning, is another very important element for fitness.  Feeling rested is the essence of your being.  Arrange a set time to start your “night-time sleeping ritual” every night, and stick to it!  Remember that poor lifestyle habits can lead to deficient health, stress related setbacks, heart disease, and even heart attacks.
